Slovak and Czech Churches in Canada
More than 72% of the Slovak population are Roman Catholics and more than 9% Lutherans and Orthodox religion. For this reason it is very important to Canadian's visitor or permanent residents to have the opportunity to participate in worship, confession in the Slovak church, or with the Slovak-speaking priest. There are also opportunities to perform and other ceremonies in Slovak language as baptism, marriage, funeral etc.
